What a Difference a Year Can Make!
Last week I discovered some pictures I had taken a year ago when I was gearing up to start working out again after my daughter was born. All I can say is YIKES! I found that old bikini and put it on this weekend to take a couple comparison pictures:

All I see in this picture is my big old butt! LOL

Results of 4 More Weeks of Turbulence Training
I finished my Advanced TT for Women program last week and took some new pictures on Sunday. From my measurements post-12 week transformation, I lost a total of 1.25" more and 2.2 lbs. I had gained about 3 lbs during my rest week, so I actually lost 5.2 lbs in the last 4 weeks.

I think I may look slightly less muffiny around the middle section! I've never owned a bikini quite like this (with a triangle top) so I was a little nervous when I tried it on, but loved how it looked!
On Saturday, I retested my number of push ups in one minute and got 36 (previous best: 34). Ugh! Only 1 away from my goal! I also did 4 unassisted chin ups at the gym that morning, so ignore what I wrote below about 3 chin ups. I'm almost half way to my goal of 10!
I didn't retake pictures after my rest week so I only have my post-contest pictures for comparison. And my grey shorts have vanished into thin air so I took the pictures in my new bikini:

For the Directionally Challenged
I got a new watch. I'm such a sucker for anything that's not quite normal. My new watch has a compass. Like I need a compass. I work in an office. It's not like I'm orienteering through the woods anywhere. Ever. I don't even hike. But I had to have the one with the compass. I can tell you that my desk faces just about due west. To get to the refrigerator, I need to go south. To get to the bathroom, I need to go east. Whew, glad I solved that mystery!
Breakthrough Challengers!
You may have noticed the new logo on my blog! A group of people from the previous Turbulence Training Challenge have formed a group called "Breakthrough Challenge" for motivation and support during the next TT Challenge beginning May 1. I'm hoping my abs will be breaking through! LOL

Eat Stop Eat Part 3
Today is my third Eat Stop Eat fasting day. I had been fasting on Thursdays, but this Thursday the boss wanted to take us out for lunch for Administrative Professional's Day. So I decided to fast today, and then the lunch got rescheduled for another day. But I'm sticking with my plan. Even if that means giving up the chocolate peanut butter pie that was brought in today. Yummm...Let me wipe the drool off the picture....OK, here it is:

Last night I combined two different recipes into one yummy meal. I used the Garlic Barley Risotto recipe from Gourmet Nutrition and paired it with the Spicy Chicken recipe from Jillian Michaels' Making the Cut. I haven't actually gotten a chance to try her workout yet. I've been very happy with my Turbulence Training workouts. But the recipes in her book are fantastic. Everything I have made has been delicious. All in all, it was a very tasty dinner. I'm counting all the tomatoes as my vegetable serving.

The Winners!
Thanks to everyone who voted for me, but I did not place. But all of the winners look super-fantastic and are really nice people, so I don't mind. (Although the $500 third place prize would have bought us a sweet new lawnmower!) Click HERE to see photos of the winners and congratulations to Emily, Steve, Kristine and Adam! Click HERE for more information on the Turbulence Training program. New contest starts May 1! Hope to see you there!
